Lottery ticket sold in Corona
July 28, 2008 by Heidi Franklin
Monday is the expiration date for the still-unclaimed $174,574 in winnings. If no one comes forward with the winning ticket by the end of the day, the money will go to the California Department of Education.
The winning Mega Millions ticket was purchased Jan. 29 at the 7-Eleven store at Sixth Street and Grand Boulevard in Corona. It bears the winning Mega Millions numbers — 8, 23, 39, 40 and 42 — but lacks the bonus number, 24.
